      TaylorMade-adidas Pro-Assistant Championship 
           
Franklin, TN - Teams consisting of Tennessee Section Members and Apprentices from the same facility will be participating in the TaylorMade-adidas Pro-Assistant Championship held at Bluegrass Yacht & Country Club on April 2, 2012. TaylorMade-adidas Golf and SkyGolf will be the tournament partners for 2012.
           
The TaylorMade-adidas Pro-Assistant Championship is open to all Tennessee PGA Professionals and apprentices in good standing. The format for the event is an 18-Hole Four-Ball Stoke Play event. Senior Tees will be used for professionals over the age of 50 and a Super Senior/Women’s tee will be used for professionals over 65 and all female professionals. Although competing from separate tees, senior professionals will compete for the same purse. These yardages will be approximately 3-5% shorter than regular course length for the senior tee and approximately 12% shorter for the super senior/women’s tee.
         
The defending champions from Fox Den Country Club Scott Moran and Scott Masters will be back to defend their title. Last year the set a new Pro-Assistant Championship record by recording a -10 under par round of 62.
