Anchoring - The PGA of America Statement from Ted Bishop

Over the past few months The PGA of America has taken a vocal and active position
which reflected the strong viewpoint of our PGA Professionals in opposing the USGA
and R&A's proposed Rule 14-1b that would ban the anchored stroke. Today, the
governing bodies indicated that they will proceed with the formal adoption of the rule.

2013 Senior State Open Presented by the City of Crossville Press Release

A record number of players participated in the 2013 Senior State Open Presented by the City of Crossville
 of 143 players. Unlike previous years of the Tennessee Senior State Open, the weather was sunny,
beautiful, yet windy at the idyllic Stonehenge Golf Course in Crossville, Tenn. However, the better weather
did not translate into lower scores, as there were no rounds under par after round one. The low score after
the first round was a 1-over-par 73 carded by professionals Danny Briggs, Bill Hickey and Richard Smith.

Munson/Dinwiddie/Bailey/Jones Take Home Top Honors at
EMS Pro-Am

Munson, Chapman, Reeves Win Regular Pro Division - Helton Wins Senior Pro Division

The team of Steve Munson, PGA, Tim Dinwiddie, Eddie Bailey and Payne Jones lit up Millstone Golf Club
in the final round of the Electronic Merchant Systems Pro-Am, posting a second day sore of 16-under-par
56 to win by three strokes with a two day total of 118.

The Tennessee PGA hosted the 3rd Annual Pepsi Family Golf Day Presented by US Kids Golf on
Sunday, April 21st at Golf House Tennessee

The Tennessee PGA hosted the 3rd Annual Pepsi Family Golf Day presented by US Kids Golf on
Sunday, April 21st from 1-3pm at Golf House Tennessee.  The day featured free golf lessons, a
SeeMore Putting Contest, a demo day with US Kids and an appearance by Golfzilla.

The PGA of America announced today a new ticketing procedure for the 2014
PGA Championship at Valhalla Golf Club that will give priority, to early online registration.
Fans should act now to reserve their spot in line for the public ticket sale, which runs from
Aug. 12-Sept. 20, 2013.
